My First Triathlon Tri Suit: Review

My First Triathlon Tri Suit: Review

Today I’d like to make a review of my first triathlon tri suit, that I’ve bought on amazon.com for 40$. Here is the link: Sundried Mens Premium Padded Triathlon Tri Suit Compression

  • My height: 183 cm (6 ft);
  • Weight: 75 kg (165,35 pounds).
  • Size: L (fits perfectly).

I use this model of the suit for 3 month. I wore it for many workouts in cycling and for two sprint races in triathlon.

To my mind, it is a perfect model based on the price to quality ratio, especially for short tracks of triathlon, sprint and super sprint. Longer distances like Olympic or half-Ironman, and Ironman would be not suitable, and here are the reasons:

  1. This suit does not have pockets (there is no place for energy gel necessary for eating during the race);
  2. There is no front zipper (when you run for a long time, you always want to cool down).

The rest details of the costume are great! If you are just starting your acquaintance with triathlon and do not plan to run a longer distance in the near future than the Sprint, then this model will be a great choice for you. Highly recommend.
